Caesar Rivise Attorney Coaches Villanova Charles Widger School of Law National Trial Team

Court is in session! This weekend, students from Pennsylvania and New Jersey area law schools will compete in the regional leg of the Texas Young Lawyer’s Association National Trial Competition at the Juanita Kidd Stout Center for Criminal Justice in Philadelphia, PA.  Among the teams in attendance will be last year’s regional champions, the Villanova Charles Widger School of Law National Trial Team, coached by Caesar Rivise Attorney Leah George and her fellow co-coaches.

Over the course of the weekend, the student competitors will have the opportunity to showcase their trial advocacy skills by representing both the plaintiff and defendant in a mock civil negligence case and will be scored by a panel of practicing Philadelphia area attorneys and judges.  The two top scoring teams from the region will head to San Antonio, Texas later next month where they will compete against law schools across the country for the national championship title.  Caesar Rivise wishes good luck to all the competitors!
